Here’s How I’m Doing

A few days ago I saw that “theryanhan.com” was available for real cheap so I bought the domain. And now we’re here. I’ll probably use this space to write reviews, short stories, or just post updates on my life.
Also, for people who want to know, I’m doing great! To really capture this moment in time, it’s the Saturday before Mother’s Day. I just came back from an hour-long walk, lifted some weights, took a shower, and now I’m sitting in front of my computer wearing a red bathrobe while Giant Bomb East’s 2017 Extra Life livestream plays in the background.
Here are a couple of the thoughts in my head right now:
Got back into watching M*A*S*H in the last few months and I’ve rewatched the entire series about five times now. That also might be an article later.
I definitely got a red bathrobe because Hawkeyes wears one in the hit 70’s TV show M*A*S*H.
Can’t wait to get my second Moderna shot next Friday.
Trying to get the last achievement in Hades but it’s starting to make the game less fun so I might not go for it. But Hades might be favorite game in the last ten years.
I keep checking the weather to see if it’s a good weekend to hike at Malibu Creek State Park. But I might wait for the park to reopen proper so that I can go to the visitor center to buy a pin that commemorates how the park was the filming location for the hit 70’s TV show M*A*S*H.
Really, really fucking bummed about Vinny Caravella, Alex Navarro, and Brad Shoemaker leaving Giant Bomb. That might actually be its own article in the future.
It should be easier to find 24" x 24” frames. I just got a print that size from an artist I like, Crisalys, and it has to sit in the middle of a movie poster-sized frame looking like a dork.
I’m really starting to appreciate Colonel Potter more as a character in rewatches of M*A*S*H. I was more of a Hawkeye fan in high school but I’m a bigger fan of Potter’s patience, experience, and intolerance of bullshit. Also, we both like westerns.
I think I’m getting close to nailing my kimchi jigae recipe. It’s based on Maangchi’s recipe with a few tweaks. Might post that later.
I’m in the top .8% of Tetris Effect players right now and I’m low-key proud of that.
It’s weird how, even this deep into the internet’s life span, it’s almost impossible to find torrents of the not-so-hit TV series AfterMASH.
Fucking hate spiders. Moved into a new place in January and, although it’s infrequent, I hate every spider I see.
Watching old episodes of Match Game because I saw that Gary Burghoff, Loretta Swit, and McLean Stevenson (of M*A*S*H fame) appear on there. I think I might be in love with Brett Sommers now?
Watched the Fast and the Furious movies for the first time with Giant Bomb’s Film and 40s commentary and I think that’s the only way those movies would be good watches for me. There’s a scene where they use grappling hooks to shoot hack into the cars to stop the wheels and I don’t know if that’s too stupid or just stupid enough.
I’ve lost 90 pounds in the last year and I’m feeling good about that.
Related to losing weight, I’ve gotten kind of into sneakers and I have a couple different pairs of Ultraboosts now because they’re pretty comfy. But I still think sneakerheads are fucking insane.
